Review: Soleil Tan De Chanel

Hello everyone,
So today I thought I would review 'Soleil Tan De Chanel' or as some people like to call it 'Bronze Universel'. I bought this product three weeks ago so I have had enough time to gather up my thoughts on this product.

First of all, the packaging is a huge winner for me. It is so sleek and stylish looking for such a large product. The lid is a shiny hard plastic with the classic Chanel logo engraved in gold, and the base is a heavy frosted glass which makes the product feel very luxurious!

The product itself is the mother of all cream bronzers as it was the first one to enter the market. It can be used as a bronzing base to your make-up or you can apply it after you have applied your foundation. The scent of this product is chic and sophisticated,a very subtle version of the Chanel blushers but when applied to the face it vanishes. This bronzer is so soft and creamy and it is super easy to blend. It has good pigmentation and orange undertones so make sure you don't apply too much! As it is a cream, it gives a very natural and healthy glow to the face. I like to apply this to where the sun would naturally hit my face, such as the bridge of the nose, top of the cheek bones and my forehead. On days where I don't want to wear foundation, I like to sweep this over my face to add a sun-kissed glow. I find this cream bronzer works best with a buffing brush, my favourite is from Real Techniques and can be purchased here. I would opt out of using this brozer as a contour,  as even though there is no shimmer it is a very warm shade and a bronzer with cooler undertones would give better dimension to the face.

Chanel Bronze Universel can be purchased in many department stores and costs around €40 for 30g. It has been a favourite of mine for the month of July and although this will last me yonks, i will definitely be repurchasing it again!
